Building-integrated photovoltaics

Don’t try to tell the client what he wants. If you want to be smart, be smart in the shower. Then get out, go to work, and serve the client.

Building Integrated Photovoltaics

Building Integrated PV reinvents the idea of solar energy. Integrated solar is aesthetically appealing, financially profitable, and perfectly within the reach of the regular customer. It turns the cost of construction materials into a source of income so the roof or faade could have a payback period. BIPV opens a wide range of new business opportunities on the untapped markets of various applications

BIPV – Building-integrated photovoltaics. The solar photovoltaic panel is integrated into the building fabric rather than a ‘tack-on’ addition and the PV panel replaces conventional building cladding materials but with the added

benefit of producing renewable electricity. The key advantage of Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) is the marginal additional cost in installation. BIPV is one of the fastest growing segments of the photovoltaic industry. BIPV also delivers further advantages. Its applicability to a wide range of applications, vertical and horizontal surfaces means a wider area can be employed to generate solar energy than just conventional roof tops. Further, by generating electricity at point of use means that transmission losses are reduced and no upgrade of the grid is required. BIPV glazing can also deliver added energy saving benefits in reduced heat loss and heat gain and as a non mechanical system requires little or no maintenance over its lifetime.

Cost Saving

Our BIPV Modules are cost efficient since they replace the conventional building materials such as glass facades and roofing’s with our Solar Façade Integrated Modules and Roof Integrated Modules. The added advantage of labor combining labor costs with the original construction adds to the customer’s cost savings. Moreover our BIPV modules out perform old generation BIPV panels by a margin of 10-20% more efficiency adding to further long term financial benefits.

Variety option

We have a wide variety of products that suit your building construction requirements such as glass facade modules and roofing modules of various designs, sizes, thickness and efficiency coefficients. We can also design glass facade modules and roofing modules as per your technical requirements

High Durability

Our high quality BIPV modules are guaranteed free from defects. Our modules are free from defects in

materials and workmanship for 5 years. Guaranteed efficiency: Maintain more than 90% of maximum power for 10 years. Maintain more than 80% of maximum power for 25 years.

Visual Advantage

Our range of BIPV modules provide good environment adaptability, less sensitive to installation angle and

are  more suitable for vertical installation. One or more  combination  of our BIPV module  types can be used to create  a unique look and feel to your building. All with the benefit of generating power without additional space requirement such as traditional solar panels

High Reliability

Our BIPV Solar Modules perform exceptionally well under weak light and high temperature. This makes it a leader in the BIPV industry forreal life applications. Our BIPV modules will continue to generate electricity even when competitive panels fail to perform.

PV Glass lets natural light in. It also provides thermal and sound insulation while filtering 99% of harmful UV radiation, and up to 95% Infrared radiation. Certified Quality Assurance: Our modules have the following Quality Certifications : TUV, UL, CE, RoHS, IEC, CQC, ISO, SFEC, CEC

CIGS ePower tile logic

The ultimate idea of ePower Tiles is to replace the traditional roofing materials so both: the end-customer and installer could benefit. For the customer, the roof, instead of the cost, turns into an investment vehicle. Since it generates income, in the long-term, it is free of charge so it could be replaced more often without financial stress. For the installers, ePower tile opens new opportunities to operate on the promising markets of high-profit margins and scarce competition. What matters is know-how and innovative spirit to grasp the uncovered demand.

CIGS ePower tile logic

The manufacturer offers the product in two versions with a power output of 56 W each, as well as in a 26.5 W version with a smaller size. A first 56 W tile, which the company describes as bender compatible, measures420 mm x1,280 mm x 38 mm and weighs 9.9 kg. It has an open-circuit voltage of 41.3 V and a short-circuit current of 1.89 A. The second 56 W product, described by the manufacturer as Tejas Borja compatible, also weighs9.9 kgbut measures457 mm x1,268 mm x 39 mm. The values for the open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current are the same as the other 56 W tile.

The 26.5 W product has dimensions of457 mm x 653 mm x 39 mm and weighs 4.7 kg. Its open-circuit voltage is 39.7 V and its short-circuit current is 0.94 A. All the tiles are claimed to withstand a snow load of 5,400 Pascal (Pa) and a wind load ranging from 1,600 Pa to 2,400 Pa. They are built with 3.2 mm tempered glass, an anodized aluminum alloy frame, and an IP68 enclosure. Theirtemperature coefficient is -0.34% per degree Celsius and their operational temperature ranges from -40 C to 85 C. The product comes with a 10-year product warranty and a 25-year performance warranty.
